Oolong teas are partially oxidized and possess some of the qualities of both black and green teas. They are known for their aromatic, fruity, sometimes sweet and sometimes roasted tastes. Chinese oolongs go back in history many centuries, while Taiwan first began producing oolongs in the 19th century. Oolongs can be light, delicate, sweet, almost floral, though they can also be dark and rich. They provide a huge range of flavor possibilities, all of them wonderful.
Oolong teas are steeped with slightly cooler than boiling water for 3-5 minutes. Most oolongs are meant to be brewed multiple times.
